Update v1.3.1 for Partometer App on iOS submitted to AppStore for review.

UPDATE: 14-Mar-2015: Partometer update v1.3.2 passed AppStore review and should be available for download shortly. Let us know if you have any issues with the app.We appreciate your patience and collaboration.07-Mar-2015: v1.3.2 update with stability improvements on iPads with iOS 8.1 sent for review and should be available in AppStore soon. It has been reported that recent Partometer update v1.3.0 has an issue with camera and photo loading on iPad devices on iOS v8.1.3. The bug has been fixed and v1.3.1 had been sent for review to AppStore. It should be available for download soon.Thank you for your patience!

Partometer – camera measure: update v1.3.0 brings multiple rulers to iOS version.

Partometer for iOS has been recently updated with v1.3.0 that features multiple rulers.Now you can add rulers in Length Mode by making a LONG touch and moving your finger to the desired direction. Length values are shown above each ruler. Underneath you can see ratio of each ruler to the blue reference length.Also in this version of the app value labels introduced in the Area Mode. Now you can see length of each leg of the measured polygon.Let us know if you have any feedback or comments regarding the update.

New Magnifying Glass (zoom) feature in Touch and Drawing Modes improves usability and accuracy of “Planimeter – GPS Area Measure” on Android

Zoom feature (Magnifying Glass), recently introduced only in Edit Mode , is available in Touch and Drawing Modes now. It improves usability and accuracy of Planimeter on Android by showing a touch region hidden under your finger and by zooming in an exact spot on the map where a pin is about to be dropped. How it works: - make sure Magnifying Glass is enabled in the app settings.- touch the map and hold your finger to pull up the Magnifying Glass in Touch Mode- move your finger, see zoomed area under it and drop a pin at a desired location.The video below demonstrates two ways to place pins for field marking and measurement. Planimeter on Android: improved UI with new drawer menu.

Drawer MenuOur Android app for GPS tracking and distance/area measurements on Google Maps, Planimeter, has been updated with improvements to option menu. As been mentioned before some users had problems finding option menu on Samsung devices. Now this problem has been resolved with drawer menu that can be reached as before by touching menu button or by swiping from the left edge of the screen.Version 3.8.4 is available on Google Play.

MapTrack: 30 000 miles or 11 months of live tracking.

In August we wrote about MapTrack being used during a trip around the US. Michelin Pressure Calculator Application has been recently published on Google Play. The application calculates proper tire pressure for tractors based on user inputs. VisTech.Projects has participated in this project as a developer.One of distinctive features of this app is the ability to perform measurements on pictures. We have implemented it as a “camera measure module” based on our technology used in Partometer application and adapted it for quick and convenient estimation of wheelbase and other distances needed for pressure calculation.The application is simple and easy to use and has options to save, view and share data reports. French, English, Spanish and German are supported. Farmers can use this tool for quick pressure calculations for different Tire / Tool configurations.
