Multiple areas measurements in Planimeter 5.0 on AndroidA new version of our Planimeter app for measurements on Google Maps has been released and available on Google Play now. We've listened to our customers feedback and the most requested features and tweaks have been  added to this version.What's new:A new polygon control panel can be called by touching "Add polygon" button from the main screen of the app, where you have access to the  new functionality.From there you can add multiple polygons on the map during measurements session. MapTrack: 8 months around Africa.

Two years ago MapTrack was used for 11 months trip around the US. This year it covered a new continent - Africa.Andreas and Sveta used the app during 8 months trip around Africa and they were kind enough to share these beautiful pictures. Planimeter v4.1.0 for Android extends recently introduced Notes Mode with a new feature. Now along with the ability to attach, edit and share notes for each point you can quickly switch to Google Maps and navigate to selected point. This feature comes in handy when you use Planimeter as a mapping tool and need to find directions quickly and navigate to any point from your Planimeter records.Now you don’t have to look for a point address or coordinates, just switch to Notes Mode and touch a pin on your map. In the popped up dialog select Directions button and you will be brought to Google Maps, where desired route can be selected. MapTrack: 30 000 miles or 11 months of live tracking.

In August we wrote about MapTrack being used during a trip around the US. Update v3.8.0 for “Planimeter - GPS Area Measure” on Android features Magnifying Glass option in Edit Mode.This feature comes in handy when you need to adjust pins accurately on the map  while working in Edit Mode.
